Description

Orange and grey talisman necklace – A jewel that dances between earth and fire

The contrast between the grey of Jasper and Labradorite and the orange of Miyuki beads speaks of’anchoring and mystery In this talismanic lariat, Jasper, with its marbled hues, evokes the raw strength of stones shaped by time. Labradorite, on the other hand, adds a touch of depth, a subtle brilliance that seems to whisper ancient secrets.

The bright, luminous orange Miyuki glass beads evoke the energy of a blazing twilight, where sky and rock merge in a final embrace before nightfall. They structure the whole, lending it a vibrant and solar dynamism.

Touches of Labradorite and gold-plated 925 silver add a precious and contrasting note, playing with the light to bring out the natural brilliance of the stones.

Each lariat is designed with impeccable finish : no visible knots, beads meticulously selected one by one for the harmony of lines, and an innovative knotting system that makes it a unique piece of jewelry on the market.

Authentic and natural materials

  • Jasper : A stone of grounding and stability, it recalls telluric forces and perseverance.
  • Labradorite A stone of protection and regeneration, it acts as an energy shield and stimulates intuition.
  • Orange miyuki : A touch of sunshine, a symbol of vitality and self-confidence.

How to wear your orange and grey lariat?

This jeweled scarf plays on a striking duality: the energy of coral red and the calming warmth of labradorite grey. The addition of gold and wood accents balances the overall effect between brilliance and natural beauty.

Ideal colors to combine

  • Deep neutrals: Black, anthracite grey, off-white, sand.
  • Naturally warm: Beige, camel, terracotta.
  • Bold contrasts: Navy blue or olive green for a complementary play with coral red.

Recommended textures

  • Natural materials: Linen, raw cotton, fine wool to evoke the organic look of jasper and wood.
  • Fluid fabrics: Silk, muslin, fine knit to provide a lightness that will highlight the structure of the scarf.
  • Raw effects: Slightly worn denim or aged leather can contrast with the elegance of the jewelry and give it a more modern touch.

Ideal outfit

A black or sand-colored V-neck top (cotton or silk) will allow the piece to breathe, paired with straight-leg camel linen trousers or raw denim jeans. For a dressier look, a flowing ecru or brick-red dress would work perfectly, highlighting the warm vibrancy of the coral without overpowering the labradorite's nuances.

This accessory has a powerful expressive power. It can be the focal point of an outfit if the rest remains understated, or conversely, it can be integrated into a harmony of bolder materials and colors!

How to care for your handcrafted wood and pearl necklace?

Caring for your necklace the way you care for yourself

Rest assured, ladies, caring for a wooden and gemstone necklace requires very little time! It is much more than just a piece of jewelry. It carries within it the memory of the carved wood, the energy of the stones that compose it, and the intention of the artisan who crafted it. Like our own bodies, It evolves over time, it breathes, it absorbs the elements and movements of life. To preserve its beauty and strength, it requires special attention.

Wood, a living material

Wood softens and develops a patina when touched by the skin, but can also dry out if left untreated. Pearls, whether mineral or organic, absorb light and the environment, and deserve to be protected from external aggression. Caring for your necklace is not just about extending its life, it's also about respecting the material, honoring what is natural and allow it to flourish over time.
With a few simple gestures, you can accompany your jewel on its journey, giving it what it needs to endure the years with elegance and authenticity.
Find out here how to preserve and care for your wood and pearl necklace so that it stays with you for a long time.

Avoid water and humidity

Wood and certain types of natural stone can be water-sensitive. It is recommended to :
Remove your collar before showering, bathing or swimming.
To preserve wood and pearls, avoid very humid environments.

Gentle, natural cleaning

Use a soft, dry cloth to regularly remove dust from the collar.
For wood, apply a drop of natural oil (jojoba, sweet almond). once or twice a year to nourish and protect the material.
For stones, a light wipe with a slightly damp cloth may suffice.

Protection against heat and chemicals

Do not expose the collar to extreme temperatures or a prolonged sunlight.
Avoid contact with perfume, chemicals or make-up that could damage the stones and wood.

Energetic recharging of stones

Place the stones under the full moon for natural recharging.
For certain stones, such as labradorite, recharging on a quartz cluster or a amethyst geode can be beneficial.

Visit Padouk wood is an exotic species renowned for its sturdiness, durability and an orange-red hue that changes over time. It has one notable feature: it sweat under the influence of heat and humidity. This "transpiration" corresponds to the exudation of natural resins contained in the wood.

Special features of Padouk wood

Why does Padouk sweat?

  • Padouk is rich in resins and natural oils, which protect it from external aggressions (insects, fungi, humidity).
  • When wood is exposed to rising temperatures or humidity, these substances rise to the surface in the form of micro-exudations.
  • This is particularly visible on smooth or varnished surfaces, where exudation sometimes creates a sticky film.

How to care for Padouk wood

  • Cleaning Regular: Wipe the surface with a soft, clean cloth to remove excess resin.
  • Use of a degreaser Gentle: diluted spirit or vinegar can help remove resin without damaging the wood.
  • Oiling (optional): A specific oil for exotic woods can help stabilize the surface and reduce rising.
  • Sanding Light sanding if necessary: If the exudation becomes too significant, light sanding with an abrasive sponge can help open the pores of the wood and limit the phenomenon.

It all starts with selecting the part of the wood to be used.

To ensure perfect assembly of the clasp, the parts are first machined using a CNC (Computer Numerical Control)

Then comes the crucial drilling stage.

The first step is to draw the reference points that will be used to align the drill bit with the angle of the holes.

The woodworking can now begin:
The two pieces are sealed with hot glue to hold them in place during shaping.

We start carving with a wood cutter.

Once the overall shape has been sculpted, we move on to sanding: 240, 320, 500 and 1000 grit are successively used during the long - but essential - sanding process...
This guarantees a perfect finish.

On the left, the piece has now been sanded to a 1000 grit: all that remains is to polish it…

Completed puzzle clasp!
