Duddy's Lariats
I'd say you need a keen eye for color harmony. I vary the styles as much as possible, but basically, it all depends on my mood, my sensitivity, my inner mood.
Sometimes, inspiration threads the pearls one by one on the silky thread of creativity. Sometimes, too, I freeze on an intention for hours, even days, until I regain a little flexibility. All I had to do was let go of the original idea, so as not to freeze anything.
I combine, I put on, I take off... It doesn't matter how long it takes me, because all I'm trying to reveal is a radiance of beauty. I'm open to all styles, as long as each creation is the fruit of genuine inspiration, disconnected from any attempt to please the often ephemeral trends of fashion.

The woodworking process
It all starts with the choice of wood. Once the curves have been drawn, I carefully select the piece that will be used to carve each model. This choice is based on three essential criteria:
The color Each wood species offers a unique palette, from the luminous blond of ash to the deep nuances of walnut.
Veining Each piece has a natural pattern that I examine scrupulously. They guide me and give character to the final piece.
Sculpt, reveal, refine
Sculpture is a dialogue with wood. Its surface is beautiful, but it's in working with it that I truly discover its beauty. its essence. Initial sanding reveals the wood's hidden nuances, subtleties and memory. Subsequent sanding will accentuate these nuances even further, until the polishing stage brings out the full depth of the wood.
Wood reacts to my tools, sometimes docile, sometimes unpredictable. Each species has its own language, its own way to welcome or blade resistance. The shape follows the curves of the model drawn, but it also evolves as the work progresses, according to the particularities of the material. No two pieces are identical: wood always imposes its uniqueness.

Beyond the sculptural work, some Valwicz necklaces are distinguished by their original locking system. There are no traditional mechanisms here, but rather a more intuitive approach, linked to the material itself.

Some models incorporate magnetic clasps concealed in the wood, enabling effortless, fluid closure. The magnets are carefully integrated, invisible to the naked eye, to preserve the pure aesthetics of the jewel while offering a secure and practical system.
